Description
This dessert pizza recipe is a fun and delicious twist on traditional pizza, featuring a crispy crust topped with chocolate, fruit, or cinnamon sugar. Perfect for parties, family nights, or a sweet treat, this recipe is customizable and easy to make
Ingredients
For the Crust
½ lb store-bought or homemade pizza dough (or sugar cookie dough, puff pastry, or graham cracker crust)
For the Sauce & Toppings
½ cup Nutella, chocolate spread, or cream cheese frosting
½ cup fresh strawberries, blueberries, or bananas
¼ cup mini marshmallows or chocolate chips
2 tbsp crushed nuts (almonds, walnuts, or hazelnuts)
1 tbsp honey, caramel, or cinnamon sugar for drizzle
1 tbsp powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and place a baking sheet or pizza stone in the oven while it heats. If using homemade dough, roll it out into a 12-inch circle and place it on parchment paper.
Spread the base layer with Nutella, cream cheese frosting, or caramel sauce evenly over the crust.
Add toppings like fresh fruit, chocolate chips, or nuts. For extra crunch, sprinkle crushed graham crackers or shredded coconut.
Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown. Watch closely to prevent the toppings from burning.
Cool & Serve by removing from the oven and letting it cool slightly. Drizzle with honey, caramel, or extra chocolate sauce before slicing.
Notes
For extra crispiness bake the crust for 5 minutes before adding toppings.
Want a no-bake version Use a cookie crust and skip the oven.
Gluten-free Use a gluten-free pizza dough or almond flour cookie crust.
Storage Tip Keep leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days, and reheat in an oven for the best texture.
