Description
A flavorful, restaurant-style chicken dish featuring juicy seared chicken breasts smothered in a rich, buttery garlic sauce with honey and smoked paprika. Made in one skillet and ready in under 30 minutes, it’s perfect for weeknight dinners or entertaining guests.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons olive oil
¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
2 teaspoons honey
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
Combine softened butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl and mix until smooth.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken breasts for 5–6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (165°F internal temperature). Remove from skillet and set aside.
Add chicken broth to the skillet to deglaze, scraping up browned bits. Stir in the butter mixture and let it melt into a smooth sauce.
Return the chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Let chicken come to room temperature before cooking for even searing.
Double the sauce if you prefer a richer dish.
For a creamier sauce, add a splash of heavy cream or coconut milk.
Great with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted veggies.
