Description
Millionaire Gnocchi with Creamy Sauce is a rich and indulgent Italian-inspired comfort food made with pan-seared gnocchi, a creamy parmesan truffle sauce, and fresh herbs. Perfect for a luxurious weeknight dinner or special occasion.
Ingredients
500g potato gnocchi
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon truffle oil
1 teaspoon fresh lemon zest (optional)
½ teaspoon black pepper
Salt to taste
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
½ cup chopped spinach or parsley
Fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish
Instructions
oil gnocchi in salted water until they float to the surface, about 2–3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add gnocchi and sauté until golden brown on both sides. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant. Lower the heat to medium.
Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in parmesan cheese and let melt into the sauce.
Stir in truffle oil, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Add spinach or parsley and cook for 1–2 minutes until wilted.
Return the gnocchi to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
Serve hot, garnished with lemon zest, fresh herbs, and extra parmesan if desired.
Notes
For extra texture, sprinkle toasted breadcrumbs on top before serving.
Use half-and-half for a lighter version of the sauce.
Truffle oil should be added at the end of cooking to preserve its aroma.
