Description

These easy no-yeast dinner rolls are soft, fluffy, and ready in under 30 minutes! Perfect for busy nights, they require no kneading or rising—just mix, shape, and bake!


Ingredients

Scale

2 cups all-purpose flour or self-rising flour
1 tbsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 cup milk or buttermilk
2 tbsp melted butter or oil
1 tbsp sugar optional, for a slightly sweet flavor

Optional Add-ins:
Shredded cheese cheddar, parmesan, or mozzarella
Garlic powder or dried herbs rosemary, thyme, or basil
Honey or maple syrup for a sweet touch


Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking sheet or muffin tin

Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar

Add the wet ingredients pour in milk and melted butter, stirring until just combined

Shape the dough lightly flour your hands and roll the dough into small balls about the size of a golf ball

Bake place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15–18 minutes, until golden brown

Brush with butter for extra softness, brush the warm rolls with melted butter before serving

Notes

For extra softness, use buttermilk instead of regular milk
For a golden crust, brush with butter or egg wash before baking
For dairy-free rolls, substitute almond milk and coconut oil
