3 to 4 overripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan
In a large bowl, mash the bananas until mostly smooth
Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla; mix until well combined
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon
Gently fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined
Stir in walnuts or chocolate chips if using
Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top

You can substitute butter with coconut oil or Greek yogurt for a lighter version
Store at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months
Great as muffins too, just reduce baking time to 18–22 minutes
